Let's tell the truth- growing a YouTube channel is just like
a fish duped out of water. If you've done any research into growing a channel,
however, you've probably heard people say that YouTube gets easier once you hit
your first 100 subs. So, does YouTube get easier after your first 100
subscribers, or is it still difficult until you reach a higher subscriber
count?
YouTube can become easier after gaining your first 100
subscribers. However, it's important to recognize that subscriber count is not
the most important thing as far as YouTube is concern while subscriber count
will be a measurement of success. This shouldn't be your ultimate priority to
hit a certain subscriber count on a milestone.
The biggest benefit that you will receive after getting your
first 100 or so subscribers is validation, throughout this you
will know that you are on the right path. However, it's keen to remember that
subscribers are not the most key to success on YouTube, therefore there are
many more aspect on YouTube that you must focus on to be successful.
IS IT REALLY HARD TO GROW A YOUTUBE CHANNEL?
As I stated above, growing a YouTube channel is a difficult
process. But how hard is it to grow a YouTube channel? After all, the difficult
things that can be done, right? Of course! But, you mustn't position yourself
for failure by assuming that the task of achieving success on YouTube is easy.
Being a YouTube content creator requires you to learn quite
a few skills. You must be able to film and edit videos, and you must be able to
design graphic elements like video thumbnails. However, you must also learn
technical skills like YouTube video SEO and how to interpret data.
Furthermore, with needing to know a variety of different
practical and technical skills, growing a channel on YouTube also takes a good
mindset. These are some of the reasons why I’m stating that patience is the
most valuable and most needed skill that a YouTube content creator must possess
to achieve success.
HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED TO MAKE YOUTUBE VIDEOS?
One of the things that content creators struggle with is
motivation. Staying motivated to make videos when they aren't being viewed by
many people can be quite difficult. This make learning how to stay motivated to
make YouTube videos is so valuable and understanding but here's the deal, Motivation
is difficult to maintain.
DEVELOP SOME KIND OF ROUTINE FOR YOURSELF?
At a point in my YouTube career, I uploaded 1 new video
every single day for 90 days, this was on a brand new channel and how was I
able to achieve that? Every single weekday from 4:30 PM until 5:30 PM, I
recorded videos. In this 1 hour, I was able to record 2 videos. So, each week,
I was able to create 10 new videos. Since I set a specific block of time aside
each weekday for recording videos, I was able to create a large number of
videos consistently.
This is the easiest way to start creating more videos. Free
up some time in your day and set it aside for YouTube-related activities. If
you do want to achieve success, you'll find the time. Instead of watching
Netflix or playing video games, why not create content?
CREATE A VIDEO CREATION WORKFLOW PROCESS FOR YOUR?
Along with having a routine for creating videos, having a
workflow process can be very helpful as well. I recommend that you map-out your
video creation process. Meaning, create an instruction booklet for yourself and
stick to it.
Organization is key to a lot of things on YouTube. Being
organized in regards to planning content, optimizing content, and editing
content will help make growing a YouTube channel a much easier process. Also,
when you get into the "zone" and you just focus on creating content,
the numbers tend to become less relevant.
DEVELOP AN UPLOAD SCHEDULE?
Last but not least, developing an upload schedule for
yourself can also help you become more disciplined. The key, however, when it
comes to benefit from having an upload schedule is sticking to the set
schedule. If you set an upload schedule for yourself but don't follow it, the
schedule won't provide any benefits to you.
What should determine what your upload schedule should be is
the time needed for you to create videos. An upload schedule can help hold you in check
and get you used to creating content regularly. Along with this, uploading new
videos consistently will help you with growing your channel. While the thought
of having an upload schedule might seem intimidating, forcing yourself to stick
to a schedule can benefit you greatly.
