The error code [OR-CBAT-15] means there is a problem with your Google Ads account. This can happen if you don't have permission to add a card to your account, or if the card you're trying to add is not valid. It can also happen if the information between your card information and your Google account profile is inconsistent.

I already have run two billing accounts on the same details, they have been active and taking payments for about 4 years so it's definitely not an issue with my details or bank.

But when setting up a cloud account for client using my details for setup, I get hit with this a OR-CBAT-15 error. I verify my card on my banking app, it says Google has also verified my card, and then I get the spinning wheel of death and it hangs.

Tried with 3 banks and 3 cards, both Mastercard and Visa. Billing support has been useless, they didn't understand the problem.

Answers to this error message from google clouds

1. There is an issue on Google's issue tracker

marked as won't fix, intended behaviour. So yeah, it's their anti-fraud system that works awfully, for 2 years now I've been trying to open a new account as I changed my email addresses with no luck. Also, support won't do shit from what I've seen.

2. I faced the same problem. It didn't accept both Visa and MasterCard cards somehow. I was getting Contact us Later and OR-CBAT-15 Error.

So, I encountered the problem just by creating another google account and set it up! This way I accessed the cloud.

3. Just tried with 3 differents credit cards and every time I get the same error

Unfortunately we don't have a month to deploy our application.

Hope AWS is on :grinning_face_with_sweat:
